1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern the use of the free hit counter, online users counter and website statistics service of usuarios-online.com (the "Service"), provided by La Clave Ganadora S.L., Tax ID B54714571 (full details in the Legal notice). By registering or using the Service you accept these terms.

2. Description of the Service

The Service lets you register websites, get a code to insert in them and view statistics about their visits. It is free and provided "as is", subject to availability. We may improve, modify or limit features and show advertising on the pages of usuarios-online.com (never inside your website or your counter).

3. Registration and account

You must provide a valid email and keep your password secret. You are responsible for the activity carried out with your account.
You must be at least 14 years old; if you are a minor, you need the permission of your parents or guardians.
You may only register websites that you own or are authorised to manage.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service for:

Websites with illegal content, content inciting hatred, violence or crime, or that distribute malware.
Artificially inflating statistics, generating automated visits or faking counters.
Attacking, overloading or trying to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
Reselling the Service or using it in a way that harms other users.

We may suspend, disable or delete accounts and websites that breach these terms, with prior notice where reasonable.

5. Public statistics

For each website you choose whether its statistics are public, public except referrers, or private. Public statistics can be seen by anyone and may appear in search engines. You can change this option at any time.

6. Protection of your visitors' data (data processing)

Regarding the data of visitors to your websites, you are the data controller and La Clave Ganadora S.L. is the processor. This clause constitutes the processing agreement under article 28 GDPR:

Subject matter: measuring and showing the visits to your websites. Data: technical browsing data described in the Privacy Policy. Duration: while the website is registered.
We will process the data only to provide the Service and according to your instructions (the settings you choose), with a duty of confidentiality and appropriate security measures.
We only use sub-processors necessary for the Service (hosting and email), under the same obligations.
We will help you respond to data subjects' rights and will inform you without undue delay of any security breach affecting your data.
Deleting the website or your account erases its data and statistics.

It is your responsibility to inform your visitors in your privacy policy that you use this statistics service. The counter does not use cookies.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its code and its design belong to La Clave Ganadora S.L.. We grant you a free, non-exclusive and revocable licence to insert the counter code on your registered websites while you use the Service.

8. Liability

The statistics are approximate and may be affected by browser blocking, automated visits or other factors. We do not guarantee that the Service will be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data resulting from the use of the Service. Nothing in this section limits the rights that the law grants to consumers.

9. Termination

You can delete your websites or your account at any time from your dashboard. We may also stop providing the Service, giving reasonable notice where possible.

10. Changes to the terms

We may modify these terms. The current version will be published on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will notify you. If you continue to use the Service, you accept the new version.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be submitted to the courts of Alicante (Spain), unless consumer law establishes another jurisdiction. For any questions, use the contact form.

This is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
